Yoga isn’t just a way to get in your daily fitness fix. In fact, it’s not that at all—rather, it’s a powerful ancient technology that can lead you to more expansive states of consciousness, greater mental clarity, deeper sleep, reduced stress, and more access to your whole self.

If you’ve already read my new book, Care of the Whole Self: Yoga-Inspired Practices for Befriending the Self, you’ll understand why it’s so crucial to nourish your body and soul in these unprecedented times.

But reading a book isn’t enough. That’s why I created a special live ten-week course to walk you, step by step, through your own vital inquiry into whole-self-care. My course covers the five dimensions of the self according to yoga in depth—and it offers information you won’t find anywhere else about how you can work to nourish each dimension so that you can experience greater peace, joy, and wellness.

And ultimately, so that you can reclaim your nervous system from the many systems and distractions that may serve to disconnect you from your wholeness!

Here's What You'll Get

The tools in this course emerge from my work as a trauma-informed Yoga Therapist and Teacher of Yoga. My yoga style—which provides space for multi-level practitioners to journey through their practice—translates to my overall teaching style. In this course, you’ll find powerful, therapeutic whole-self-care tools that will serve you and your personal intentions, as well as give you the fuel and inspiration to better serve others.

Over our ten weeks together, you’ll receive the following:

  • A link to a weekly live teaching/Q&A session with me via Zoom
  • The opportunity to study and experience ancient yogic tools placed into a modern-day context that prioritizes nervous system resilience and coming back to basics in an increasingly complex world
  • Powerful knowledge about the five koshas, or dimensions of the self, and rituals for developing daily practices that nurture each of them
  • An in-depth journal and workbook to chart your whole-self-care journey throughout our ten weeks together
  • A unique and effective model for teaching whole-self-care to groups and individuals
  • The chance to put your entrepreneurial talents and leadership skills to use by moving through a certification process that enables you to teach these tools to others in your yoga, therapy, or coaching practice
  • RYTs will receive Yoga Alliance CEUs; those who take the course with certification will receive an additional 3 CEUs

FAQs

Is this class just for people who are into yoga?

While having a general appreciation and knowledge of yoga is preferable, it’s absolutely not mandatory. This course is designed for people who are committed to integrating the rich principles of whole-self-care into their daily lives. It’s also perfect for yoga teachers, massage therapists, holistic practitioners, therapists and coaches, and anyone in a leadership position that deals with health and well-being.

Do I also have to do the certification?

No. The certification is for those who wish to teach the principles of whole-self-care to others.

Do I need to have read your book, Care of the Whole Self: Yoga-Inspired Practices for Befriending the Self, before taking the course?

No, although I recommend it as a powerful and informative complement to the course!

Will I have lifetime access to the content?

Yes! All replays of videos, as well as workbook and other content, will be available via a password-protected site to which you will have lifetime access.

How much time will I have to devote to this course?

The live component will be one hour per week, but I encourage you to engage with “homeplay” assignments, daily rituals, and personal inquiry for 15 minutes a day minimum.

Are scholarships available?

In the interest of making this course accessible to everyone, we are offering scholarships on a case-by-case basis. If you believe you are eligible for a scholarship, please email me at [email protected]. Include a brief description of your current financial circumstances, annual household income, and how you would like to integrate the skills you learn from the course into your life and work.

I won’t be available during the window of time the course is open. Will you be offering it again?

Yes. The course will be offered twice a year, once in the spring and once in the fall.

Can I get a refund if I decide the program isn’t for me?

Unfortunately, we are not offering refunds at this time—but trust that the course contains information you are unlikely to find elsewhere and that you will want to revisit for years to come!

Yoga Therapist, Author, Caregiver of Beloved Yoga: A Sanctuary for All

Yoga is a proven process, practice and philosophy that provides tools for the individual to develop a self-care routine that meets them where they are. As a teacher, I am only the guide. This philosophy is the foundation of my approach to wellbeing and has guided me through more than two decades of work in the yoga and health industry.

I am a certified Yoga Therapist with the International Association of Yoga Therapists (IAYT), and a 500-hour Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher (E-RYT). My personal mission as a teacher of yoga is to provide an opportunity for my students to have access to tools that allow self-healing, self-empowerment, and self-realization.

I founded Beloved Yoga: A Sanctuary for All to share the original teachings of yoga with reverence, integrity, and accessibility.
